South West Wales Skill sharing event, 9 May, Cardigan
This year’s South West Wales Skill Sharing and Networking Event will be held at Cardigan Castle. Originally an important stronghold in the ancient Welsh kingdom of Ceredigion, decades of neglect left the site in ruins, but after years of local campaigning the castle is now in public hands. Extensive works have taken place to restore the castle to its former glory and the doors have been opened for community, recreational and educational uses.
The event will be brimming with activities including a Tyfu Pobl programme update, presentations from inspiring community growing projects and opportunities for networking. During the afternoon you can take part in a tour of Cardigan Castle and participate in a choice of growing related workshops and demonstrations led by local practitioners.
