Get involved in Edible Gardens Open Day 2014

Community gardens open day on 20th September

Federation of City Farms & Community Gardens

The Big Dig network is holding a community gardens open day on 20th September. It’s an opportunity for community gardens in your town or city to show off what they do and get more people involved. Last year 4,000 people visited a garden on the day. We want even more people to come along this year, and in particular, we want to encourage people that have not been before. The Big Dig will be providing publicity materials to help the gardens advertise the event, as well as information packs to help the gardens plan activities on the day. Each garden will get some free seeds and there will be a prize for the garden that has the most visitors.

If you would like to get involved please contact abigail@farmgarden.org.uk by 25 July. Gardens will be able to register after this date but only those that register by 25 July are guaranteed publicity materials and seeds.
