Invest in Community Energy

There are a number of opportunities to invest in Community Owned Energy. Renew Wales has been involved in supporting Awel Coop and Cardiff Community Energy and Carmarthenshire Energy host Renew Wales Co-ordinators and Mentors. Of course we support all locally owned energy projects and we would encourage you to take a look at these schemes.

 Invest in Community Energy

There are a number of Welsh Community Energy schemes that are currently open to subscribers and some others that will be opening soon.  We are really keen to promote these schemes and the more local investment their is then the greater the amount of money that is retained in the local economy.  There are some great returns available from these schemes but it is also your opportunity to invest in Wales Energy Future.

With the National Assembly elections coming up perhaps this is an opportunity to not only promote Community Energy but also to encourage the candidates to directly invest in their local schemes.
