We set ourselves three targets for the end of 2015, to help and support:
- 100,000 young people to explore enterprise, develop their skills & start up in business, whatever their background
- 20,000 women to explore and unlock their enterprise potential
- 2,500 social enterprises working in partnership with the sector to improve access to expertise, markets and finance.
74,634 young people, 21,195 women and 4,279 social enterprises have been supported and we have invested a total of £12,400,982 which includes both financial and in-kind investment into the sector.
That’s over 95,000 people supported of our 120,000 combined Youth and Women’s target. This investment has also resulted in over 1500 new businesses being created, a fantastic achievement from all involved.
