Thunderbirds are go on the Anafon Community Hydro

Well not quite. The prep' work has started to make the site ready for the contractors to move in. The mountain site has been pegged out. A corridor has been cut through the dense conifer block. Down in the valley agricultural shed have been rented to store materials . Telephone lines have been ordered. Detail method statements have been finished. Contracts are being finalised, insurance sorted, loan finalised, share offer closed, grid has been requested and the list goes on. As the weeks and months go by this blog will go through the trials, tribulations and all round nitty-gritty of building a community hydro.
