Concerned about Climate Change. I did a Master’s degree at CAT. Worked in Menter Cwm Gwendraeth advising SMEs to reduce their environmental impact-primarily through energy efficiency. Passionate about LEDs! Founder Chair of Carmarthenshire Energy Ltd-helping develop wind, PV, solar and storage for our communities. We have raised £1.1 million for our community owned 500kW WT and gained 200 members and have employed a team of four. They are developing Energy Local in West Wales. Worked as the Senior Fund Manager at Robert Owen Community Banking Fund for 4 years. Helping 20+ renewables projects across Wales and loaning £1.2 million. Been driving electric cars around Wales for 6 years-nearly 100,000 miles. Eager and knowledgeable about opportunities for rural Wales in decarbonising transport and keeping money in the locality.

Developed an energy policy for a community Council who were concerned about applications for fracking, coal bed methane and wind-turbines without much knowledge.
Once adopted, we took this to One Voice Wales who asked us to present the idea at conference for wider adoption.
Lack of funding prevented this next step.
Been working on energy efficiency in community buildings. Salem memorial Hall have eradicated their electricity bills. Also been developing an Led lighting strategy with the WRU.

Eradicated Fuel Poverty.
Local food and largely vegetable based diet-locally produced and organic.
